Your Love is a Lie

After dozens of IVF procedures, Jane Yan finally conceives and prepares to share the news with her husband Sean Xu, the hospital director. But Evan Xuan—Sean's childhood sweetheart Jenny Zheng's son—knocks Jane over with his scooter. Sean not only sides with the 6-year-old, but under Jenny's manipulation, accuses Jane of faking pain to spite the child. He takes Evan to the hospital while Jane is sent by a stranger. Despite her unstable pregnancy needing top care, Sean abuses his power to divert Dr. Zhou to treat Evan. Sean reminisces about their love and seeks reconciliation, but Evan's near-accident distracts him. Jane builds the memorial alone. At the park, Sean brings Evan and Jenny, provoking Jane's rage. Evan vandalizes the memorial, and Jane collapses after pushing him. Hospitalized, Jane insists on divorce. Sean refuses, even swearing loyalty in front of Jenny and Evan. At a grand press conference, he claims infertility to win Jane back—only for her to expose how he caused their child's death. Sean turns gray overnight. Three years later, he lives alone while Jane remarries and has two children.
